Even though our time with Finley was short, he lived large and brought endless love and joy to his family.  Finley had beautiful red hair and loved his special blanket, pretending he was a little dog, going for car and boat rides, traveling, saying hello to his favorite UPS driver, and having treats from any restaurant.  Pup cups from Starbucks were his favorite, and he would always give Dad kisses after he got one.  He loved greeting everyone who passed the house and always waited for his parents to return from their bike rides outside, just watching down the street.  He once tried to be a stowaway in a trailer when he thought he might not be included in a trip and was usually too smart for his own good!

Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do, and Finley is missed every single day.  He loved his family fiercely and was a true and faithful friend.  Thanks for seeing your parents into the empty-nest phase, Finley.  You were a big help, and we miss your companionship every single day.  We will love and remember you forever, dear Finley!  Wish we would have had much more time together.
