June 26, 2013 – March 17, 2025

Daisy was adopted on June 26, 2022 from the Siouxland Humane Society in Iowa. She was 9 years old. Uncle Kevin navigated our journey through many closed roads. As we continued to get lost, we made multiple calls asking is Daisy still there? They said yes – but we can’t hold her for you. When we finally arrived the staff laughed and said Daisy is still here! She was the smallest little dog amongst many large dogs. She was so scared – Uncle Kevin said we can’t leave her here. We submitted the paperwork and packed her in the car for Omaha, Nebraska.
Daisy was a talking dog…that made us laugh. She was our shadow. She also was a silhouette in our door window when we left and until we returned. If she didn’t want to do something she would pretend to bite you which was usually followed up with a little kiss. She was a cuddle bug. She greeted you with so much excitement you couldn’t help but feel special. She constantly wagged her tail with happiness. She loved rearranging pillows!
The Humane Society mentioned that she had 5 inches of hair on her so they had to shave her down. In her new home we made sure she had spa appointments every month! Co-workers would comment “she gets her hair done more than I do”
Daisy – thank you so much for being a part of our small family. You truly were a precious gift that left paw prints that will always be on our hearts. Mom and Uncle Kevin will always love you sweet girl.
